The wine center “Sadzvele” hosted an event that brought together wine industry professionals, winemakers, and experts from the marketing and tourism sectors. The programme featured a presentation of a Georgian wine consumer study conducted by Eter Gorgiladze, followed by a masterclass on wine tourism.
The event was supported by the International Education Center.
The research identified the profile of the Georgian wine consumer and examined how actively local consumers purchase wine within the domestic market. The presentation explored several key topics, including the age distribution of wine consumers, alcohol consumption patterns, the main factors influencing purchasing decisions, and the evolving behaviour of today's wine consumers.

"For the development of the wine industry, it is essential to better understand the consumer -who drinks wine, what influences their purchasing decisions, and how their preferences are changing. Consumer behaviour research allows us to make data-driven decisions and helps position Georgian wine more successfully in both domestic and international markets," said Eter Gorgiladze, founder of Beviour Marketing.
