3. Tvaliashvili's Marani - Saperavi 2024

What began as a hobby has grown into a defining part of life - and today, the main activity of the Tvaliashvili family. Their winery is located in the village of Khashmi, where they produce wine from estate-grown grapes, with vineyards planted in 2018.
The defining feature of their Khashmi Saperavi is its vibrant, pronounced acidity - one of the key characteristics of the microzone. The terroir is clearly expressed, further shaped by the winery’s philosophy. The wine is crafted following natural winemaking principles, with minimal intervention and the use of wild yeasts.
A full-bodied Saperavi with velvety tannins and a strong structure, revealing aromas of red fruits, black plum jam, and cherry. Decanting allows the wine to open up, bringing out more depth and complexity. A great choice for those who want to explore the typicity and character of Saperavi from this zone.
